The Orthopedic Center for Sports Medicine (OCSM) utilizes in-house physical therapist at one convenient location to facilitate recovery following orthopedic injury or orthopedic surgery. We are also pleased to offer the addition of an Extremity MRI at our Metairie office for added patient convenience. Our MRI is accredited by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC/ICAMRL) in the area of musculoskeletal imaging since 2009.
More About Extremity MRI
The Extremity MRI is a specialty scanner for patients needing an exam of the arm, including the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand, or the leg, including knee, ankle and foot. Our MRI is designed to be more quiet and comfortable for patients needing these types of exams than a full-body MRI. The new Extremity MRI provides the image quality previously available only with a whole-body MRI system.
