Lara graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. After working 4 years in public and private accounting settings, she decided to change career paths. Lara returned to school at the University of New Orleans for prerequisite classes to apply to physical therapy school. She graduated from Louisiana State University with a Masters in Physical Therapy in 2001. She has been practicing in the outpatient orthopaedics setting for over 20 years. Lara is certified in dry needling and ASTYM. She is married to Scott, who is also a physical therapist, and has one son. She enjoys reading, taking walks in City Park, and spending time with family and friends.
